Now the actress has told that initially the choreography of the song was quite different, but during the shooting, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was unhappy with that choreography. He changed the choreography of the entire song at the last moment and shot it in one take. Sonakshi Sinha recently told in an interview given to Hindustan Times, we reached the shooting of the song on the first day and we shot for several hours. I shot the song as per the choreography. Suddenly Sanjay Leela Bhansali got up and said, I don’t want this. I have to shoot this entire song in one take, let’s choreograph it now. Sonakshi has told that the choreography was changed as per the instructions of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He didn’t even have time to think or practice something new. Sonakshi had memorized the entire song’s lyrics on the sets to shoot the entire song in one take. Luckily the song was easily remembered. On this Sonakshi has said, I don’t know what happened to me. I had never shot a song in one take in my entire career before and I was doing it for Sanjay Leela Bhansali. As soon as the camera started rolling, I got into character and I loved my performance. I told myself, forget what you are. Do all you can in this moment. You are Farida, forget Sonakshi. And this is how the song was shot. Sonakshi shot that one song a total of 4 times, but Sanjay Leela Bhansali liked the first take the most, which was finalised. The series will be released on Netflix on May 1.
